Recently
won the

The Donald Watson Gallery at the Scottish Ornithologist's Club HQ in Aberlady near Edinburgh. This is a lovely venue and well worth a visit. The gallery, with its large picture window overlooks the Firth of Forth so not only do you get to see great art you can also do some bird watching in comfort.

... and this is the view at low tide. The SOC have kindly provided a bird watching scope in one corner of the gallery and some comfortable chairs so when you have finished admiring the art you can have a cup of coffee and watch the wildlife in the estuary. Not only can you see a wide selection of birds you may also get to see hares just in front of the window and there are plenty of roe deer to be seen in the nature reserve on the opposite side of the estuary.
